Family Growth Testimonies

Recently, the Lord has led me to use my story to encourage women that have struggled with family growth through infertility, finding His goodness and faithfulness through it all.
While attending a CeCe Winan's concert, I broke down during the song "Goodness of God". I was in a season of brokenness just 4-5 years ago as my husband and I tried to pick up the pieces of our life during our 5 miscarriages. This song reminded me, that even in our pain, even in our depression, He was always there. We had each other and most importantly, we had Him! Though I never felt so far, I began running back toward God and ultimately the church. Where I found God's goodness just waiting for me, arms opened wide. He met me in the valley and pulled me on top of the mountain, I just had to take His hand and trust in Him. To follow and not lead.

I was diagnosed with PMOS in December of 2024. My husband and I began trying for our 2nd child in June of 2025. As of right now, we are still trying. Throughout my journey with infertility I have asked myself many questions. How do I manage my PCOS? What are my convictions and what path do I feel God leading me to take as far as seeking treatment? Is it even in God’s plan for me to have another child? The most important question I’ve asked myself thus far is “How can this journey glorify God?” Through plenty of prayer, reading about the many stories of barren women in the Bible, and discussion with other women experiencing the same thing, I have given the battle to God and am ready for whatever journey He has for me and my family. I have peace and I intend to share my ongoing journey with others and encourage others to have the boldness to share theirs as well. Everyone experiencing infertility needs to lean on each other and more importantly, lean on God!
